How do you get baked on foods off of dishes without scrubbing your hands off?

I soak them in really hot water with lots of soap mixed in. Just let them sit there for a while- maybe about a half an hour to an hour. Usually the stuff gets soft or falls off.How do you get baked on foods off of dishes without scrubbing your hands off?
I always just let it soak. How do you get baked on foods off of dishes without scrubbing your hands off?
Hot soapy water works really well - sometimes I have even let my dishes soak overnight. I've also used 409 - which seems to break it down a little better.

For tough pans with baked on food, I've also used a spatula to scrape it off - I know Pampered Chef makes a little square plastic disk that gets under most caked on food.
Fill your sink with HOT soapy water, the new Dawn foaming pump dish soap works great. We like the citrus orange scent, and one pump will wash a sink full of dishes, so it saves you money too. Soak your dishes first, then wash, everything will be squeaky clean, and save your hands too! Best Wishes!
I have found that using dishwasher detergent, hot water and soaking does the best. Dishwasher detergent is more powerful. It's great on grease!!
I heard a dryer sheet soaked in water overnight works. I am trying it tonight let you know if it works
Just soak in hot water %26amp; Dawn soap for several hours, you can scrape the loose stuff off then if there is more that won;t come off easily, soak it again in fresh hot water. Keep doing this till it is almost gone. I also use those green Scotch scratch pads, cut in half. They get alot of hard to clean things clean faster.
LET THEM SOAK IN VERY HOT WATER WITH DISHSOAP FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS, WHEN THE WATER TURNS TEPID, DUMP IT AND PUT MORE HOT WATER IN.

TO PREVENT THIS IN THE FUTURE, LINE YOUR BAKEWARE WITH FOIL AND WRAP IT AROUND THE EDGES NEXT TIME YOU BAKE. THAT WAY WHEN YOUR FOOD IS OUT OF THE DISH, JUST TOSS OUT THE FOIL AND NO MESS TO CLEAN UP!
Just soak them in the sink in hot water with some grease remover and detergent. After about a half hour you can rub then with any hand held cleaning tool, and the baked on stuff will come off easily. Then was like you would any other dish; probably in the dishwasher. If no dishwasher, drain the sink after the soaking and refill with regular dishwashing detergent and then rinse in hot water.
