What can my husband use to get paint off his hands after scrubbing with alot of household products?

Paint thinner. Just make sure he washes well after the paint is off. Otherwise the thinner could irritate his skin. I have used this before and it stinks, but it works. Also, be careful (if he's a smoker or plans on lighting a fire) that ALL the paint thinner is off before as this is highly flammable. What can my husband use to get paint off his hands after scrubbing with alot of household products?
You have to use different things for different types of paint. Latex paint needs just dish detergent and water. Oil based paint needs mineral spirits or kerosene. Lacquers/enamels need lacquer thinner or acetone or enamel reducer. There are many different types of paint and solvents. What can my husband use to get paint off his hands after scrubbing with alot of household products?
One of the best things, aside from paint thinner (for oil-based paints) which can be very hard on your skin, is one of those orange-based hand cleaners like mechanics use such as Gojo. Works very well to get that last little bit out, easy on skin.
Tincture of time eventually works for me. :)
paint thinner and then wash good with soap.
